Importing new fonts?

Hey there guys. Im using windows xp home and photoshop cs if it matters, but I cant seem to install any fonts into photoshop. Ive heard that if you put the fonts in the WINDOWS > fonts folder, that something should come up to install them. Ive read FAQ's and thats all they say to do, is to put them in the fonts folder. Its not showing up in photoshop, so how can I make it work correctly?

figured it out, fixed my own problem. Windows sucks....so do faqs :P
