I am trying to do a style effect to a text. The style I am pulling from an editorial CD is called Plastic Chrome, it is an ASL file. I copied the style file into the "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Styles" folder where my photoshop is located. However I cannot find the style anywhere in photoshop. Did I apply the style correctly to photoshop? How do I copy this style into photoshop so I can find it in order to use it? It is a simple layer style that gives a plastic chrome look, don't know how to apply it correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks -Chris |

You are almost there. With Photoshop open, bring up your styles palette(if its not already open) and at the top right corner of the palette there is a circle with a triangle in it. This button brings up the palette menu. Go to "Load Styles..." and find the file you added. That should do the trick! |
