Let's say I have an image with a grey color as backgroung and i want to replace the grey color background and make it transparent instead, do you know how i can do this? Help me please. Thanks. :D

Hi and welcome to the forum. If I'm understanding you correctly you could manage that by deleting the gray background on the image and save it as a transparent gif...but now I don't know how your image looks...if the image has a lot of small lines and stuff it will become really jagged edges. So it only works if you have a square image. It would help a lot of you have a image to show us what you really want to make. |

Hi and thanks a lot for your fast help. I tried that but when I tried to delete the background it just remained there. The background color is white, here is the image I want to make the white color transparent. I use the magic wand tool to sellect all white areas and then i pressed delete but nothing happened. Thanks again. |

Hey I just firgured it out. I used the magic wand tool to select the white area then I inverted the selection and got the drawing selected, I cut it and then pasted it in a new canvas with no background and that's it. One of your old posts gave me the idea however so thank you again :D

It was probably because your image was on the background layer, if you make it a layer then try deleting the white then it should work.
