A photographer client of mine wants the image of a photographer's backdrop, including the stands on each side, as the background for the text on the website since the main background color of the website is black. She wants the backdrop itself in a light blue that has brush strokes on it like all photographers' backdrops do. Any ideas on how I would construct this? I have Photoshop 7. Also, if you have a better/easier idea for the image on which to put the text of the site that is photographer related, please do tell. |

You could always take a picture of a photographer's backdrop and edit the hues of the colors and such in photoshop.

What an odd, circular question.

I could detail the steps but it has been covered far better and in more depth than I could ever hope to cover at www.retouchpro.com. I have not checked too see but apart from their forum I would imagine they have a tutorial to cover it too. If you still really stuck I can dig it our for you. If you can't be bothered with the above play about with a few passes of the clouds and difference clouds and mess about further (yup it's vague alright;)) |
