I need to know if there is a way to make arrows without using the line tool? or the pallets tool. Soon you will learn grasshopper (KC)

There is a custom shape tool on your tools pallet. In Photoshop 6 there are a few presets in which you can choose from. One being an arrow, if I am not mistaken.
If you are looking for a different style of arrow, you should be able to create one using the shape tools and other vector tools that are available quite easily. Then define and save your new arrow shape to the custom shapes drop down menu so you will have it when needed.
To Define Custom Shape is located under your edit menu, usually is available when you have the Shape Tool selected on the tool bar.
