Hi guys. Today I turned on the computer, opened PS7, went to use my clone tool, AND NOTHING! After about an hour of dorking around, I decided to uninstall and reinstall. Still, even with factory settings, I am having this problem. Here is what it all boils down to. The default round brushes are not drawing at their indicated px size. If I enlarge the brush size to 2500 px, I will get a line that is about 1 px when I use the brush. Anything that uses a brush size has this problem (brushes, cloning tool, eraser, etc) and everything else is fine (meaning all other tools in the tool pallet are operating as they should). If I select a brush from the square brush pallet, or any other specialty brush pallet, the brushes draw just fine. I am only having this problem with the round default brushes. I have found nothing online that would indicate what this problem is. Trouble shooting I have already done: Yes I am on the RGB channel. No I am not in quick mask. All of my preferences are on factory default. I have reset all tools. PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks! ~V~ |

This may be obvious, but have you selected the right layer that you want to Clone from?

You are sure that you deleted your preferences? What is the hardness setting for the brushes? |
