Hi! I'm a new user and a Photoshop user for years... I need 2 tutorials, maybe you guys can help me out? First one: http://www.4u-events.be/photoshop/rapper.gif http://www.4u-events.be/photoshop/caliente.gif I know there's a fast way to obtain this effect (turning an picture into vector-like image) and I really need it !! Second one: http://www.rootsjam.com/ http://www.4u-events.be/photoshop/split.jpg http://www.ilovetechno.be/2003_INDOOR/index.html Are there some tricks for turning pictures into a grungy look. Are there some special brushes for this or is it just some kind of tutorial? Thanks !!!! |

Well the first one...Well you draw the vector people with illustrator or the pentool in photoshop...there isn't really an easy way... You can put it in flash and press change to bitmap or what ever it was called but it looks really fake and blah. Second one, try google! http://www.google.fi/search?q=photoshop+grunge+brushes&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=fi&btnG=Google-haku&lr= |

for a fake vector look, try adding a posterize adjustment layer with the levels set pretty low, then color it with a hue/saturation adjustment layer. It won't be truly vector, but you can get a similar look that way. |

theDPQ made a tut for vectorizing, u'll have to search for the link, but i think i may have posted it awhile back w/ all the links of people asking this question. i forget. i'm anal like that i suppose. anyways though, that filter thing doesn't leave u much artistic freedom i suppose. the dpqs method is a go-go. gooood luck |
