Chrome Text Photoshop 7

Following the Tutorial on the Chrome text on this site i get to the rasterzise type which means i can edit the text. I make a new transparent layer above it but what do i do next? I seem to be goin wrong because my text isn't looking like it should. Using photoshop7

Rasterize means you can't edit the text.
After you make the new transparent layer, did you merge it with your now rasterized text layer? If that isn't working, make the text HUGE, then when you're done, size it down. All this I got from the tutorial page. Read it over to make sure you're doing everything correctly.
