HI, I need to make some high quality prints from photoshop files. what is the best way to do this. I have tried the best quality my printer will do on high grade photo paper, but it's just an ink jet, so the quality still isn't as good as I need it to be. I have seen prints that look like crystal clear photos, and that's what I need. I'm shure this requires a special printer of some kind, would someplace like kinkos have this kind of machien? Thanks for the tips |

Kinkos should certainly have a better printer than your home printer. Also, if you are planning to print your art (banners, flyers, etc.), you should design in a higher DPI than 72.

Normally, a good photo printer like the EPson R800very will give you a result close to a photo... If you want to try the professional printers that they use in a shop, search for a place that uses a Fuji Frontier, it prints digital files on "real" Photo paper, and usually produces very good results, if correctly set up. Make sure also that, as allanon says, you are using a normal resolution (for epson printers, try 360dpi) and make sure that you send an RGB image to your printer. |
