I am working to export a photoshop image to a webpage (yes I am a newbie). When I originally started slicing the image, everything worked great. Now when I want to make a new slice, it doesn't lock into the other ones I already made. So if I do not line up my new slice perfectly, I can accidentally creat 4 more slices that are barely visible. Is there anyway to turn on this 'locking' feature again so I can proceed? Thanks for your help!

Click the View menu and towards the bottom you will see "Lock Slices". Uncheck this and you're good to go. EDIT: Wait...I misunderstood you. This won't be a solution for your problem. Sorry. |

I do not understand you question, I think...But if you've done it the easy way, you've sliced it up and saved it as a HTML page with an image folder as a result ??? The easiest way if something went wrong would be just to delete those files, and slice it up again... If you're just trying to change one slice of the image, open up the image, alter it and press "save for web", here...when pressing save, you can change things. Pick the slice tool and select the changed slice and from one of them dropdown lists choose selected slice. That saves just the slice you selected into the same image folder you created before... Sorry, I couln't be of more assistance, but I didn't fully understand your question. Patric. |
