adding music

is it possible to put sound, either a song or a clip, into a picture such as a web banner... my friend wants to have a forum tag were you put your mouse over it and music plays. Is this possible to do in photoshop or image ready? An explaniation or a link would be much appreciated.

This has nothing to do with photoshop or imageready. You would need some javascript code, or use a program like Flash to embed audio. But unless absolutely needed don't put audio in a website unless you are using a program that has great ways of compressing it. Like flash.
