adding sound

hi this is my first post so be kind :rolleyes:

is it possible to put sound, either a song or a clip, into a picture such as a web banner... my friend wants to have a forum tag were you put your mouse over it and music plays. Is this possible to do in photoshop or image ready? An explaniation or a link would be much appreciated.

No, you need to use Macromedia Flash to do this. Photoshop is only an image program, same with ImageReady.
