Greetings, I recently had this very troubling error (at least I THINK it is an error. Otherwise I could be a boob who can't tell his butt from a hole in the ground) where the typically "grey" space around an image I am working on whem maximized, has turned a rather horrid shade of ORANGE. I mean, makes my eyes sore staring at it longer than 5 minutes, bad. Here is a screengrab of what I am talking about... http://www.hmas.org/images/photoshop_error.gif (25k External GIF Image) Does anyone have ANY idea how to fix this. I have looked up help topics, I have have searched knowlege bases, without even really knowing what to search for. I have even tried reinstalling photoshop and it STILL is orange. I am really at my wits end about this as I need photoshop for my work, but I can't work with that orange. Thanks Reno |

Change your foreground color to the nice shade of default gray, and using the Paintbucket tool, SHIFT+CLICK the orange area. You can do this for other colors as well. And instead of a bug, it's more of an underappreciated convenience.

Hehe, a clear case of something so easy it passes over your head, eh ? I did know that, but only after searching the internet for a solution, due to the fact that my area around the workspace was..softly pink...Now, a man can't have that, can he ? and after searching for ever (or atleast a few minutes), I found out just what mooch says...I really freaked out. I could have tried that, it's not hard even to think if... P... |
