Hello all, I'm new here, glad to be part of teamphotoshop.com :D! I find this side very useful and I think it's best. Anyways, I was wondering, I forgot, how do you make text to transparent when it's on background? (Background has an image). So i wanna text 2 be transparent Thanx fo' your help |

Transparent text is just ... no text. If you meant translucent, just kick down the Opacity of the text layer (it's on your layer's palette).

Yupp, listen to almighty mooch ;) Aaaaand, welcome to the forum, by the way. hope you'll like it here... To evolve mooche's tip a bit...Make a text on a separate layer in ie...withe and rasterize it, make another layer above it and stroke the text selection in ie black, go back to the text layer and lower the opacity way down, so the withe's barely visible...and you've got yourself a fairly nice translucent text... Patric. |
