Whenever I try to insert type in PS 7, the type comes out too small to read, and there's no way to fix it. This started when I defragged my hard drive (running WinXP). PS gave me an error reading: You currently have Adobe Photoshop primary Scratch and Windows' primary paging file on the same volume, which can result in reduced performance. It is recommended that you set Adobe Photoshop's primary Scratch volume to be on a different volume, preferably on a different physical drive. What does this mean? How can I fix it? Is this even the cause of my problem? Please Help! Thanks. |

Try changing the units of measurement, I am guessing you have it set to point size, if so try changing the measurments to pixels. Failing that I would reset your preference file. Oh and dont worry about that message it is unrelated to your problem. It is just saying that you have Windows and Photoshop installed in the same physical location (probably C drive) it would be better if you could set aside another drive for Photoshop, however it makes little difference if you cannot. Bottom line - ignore it, it wont bother you again until your reinstall. |

Last night my photoshop started doing the same thing to me. The text is too small to even see. I changed the unit of measurements to pixels and to mm and neither worked. Ive removed PS and reinstalled the program and the problem continues!
