Is there a way to create selection just the same way like you may paint with brush (instead to draw with color to "draw with selection")?

Hit the "Q" button on your keyboard to go into Quick Mask mode, your working area will turn a pale red/pink color, and use the brush to paint your selection.

And if the Ruby mask doesn't work for you, you can change the color (as well as the masking percentage) by double-clicking on the "Edit in Quick Mask Mode" button, located on the right side of your Tool Palette, directly below the Foreground/Background color selector.
