PLEASE HELP!Transparent texture |

Hi! I've got a problem. I've made a logo in Photoshop 7.0 with transparent texture and I've saved it in BMP ,PNG,JPEG.... formats. But this logo (in these formats) have got white background. Why?! Could somebody help me?? Cave (Paranoid - Android) |

You can save it without the background with .gif. But it will probably become pretty jagged edges... Hmm I might be remembering wrong but I thought you could do it with .png too. |

Did you select the color for transparency? it sounds you saving it with out telling it the color used for transparency or you forgetting to save with transparency double check on that.

The only way you can do it as is .gif. Just mess around with the settings until you get the quality you want.

you can set a transparent color in only .gif and .png files. you probably forgot to set your transparent color when you saved to it defaulted to a white background. i'm not sure what your mean about the transparent texture though.

In Photoshop Help Menu there is an option to export transparent image. Use this little wizzard to do transparent logos for websites if you do not know much about how to do this properly. The wizzard lets you decide or choose from various options that is easy to understand AND it shows you the result in real time. TRY IT! LENROC |
