Don't be an asshole. Do you see the post count??
If that is how you are going to treat new people go to another board.

I'm sick of this crap.
Say something usefull or shut up...

hey pauline - welcome aboard

If I understand your question correctly, theres one type of clipping path in Photoshop, and its primarily for placing/exporting pixel images with transparencies into another dtp program or for printing...

to achieve this
a. with the Pen Tool, (options bar with paths selected), trace around the part of the image you want to 'clip', (hence 'clipping path') until it forms a complete path.
b. then go to the Paths palette and double click that new path to save it.
c. with the paths/direct selection tool selected, right click on the path and choose 'Clipping Path' from the context menu.
d.in the next box, toy with the 'Flatness' value depending on your resolution of your image you are printing too.

from here there are a number of options to take, but what I usually do is save the file with the clipping and place it in the
next target application.

hope this is a start, and maybe a spark for others to contribute

cheers

hahaha...awe.

Actually, someone should really put a rule into the FAQ section:
"before asking anything, make at least one basic search on a search engine". It'd probably cut 90% of these hundreds-of-matches-on-first-simple-search-questions.
I understand telemakhos' frustration, I see it on every board I visit...it's really annoying.
It was a bit harsh, but still... :D

Welcome aboard, Pauline. :p

I wasn't really frustrated. I just wanted to make it clear. It's not like I wrote "f*ck you use google" and then put a million angry faces next to it.

You should've put a ";)" there, and all would've been well. :D

Amazing the change that one emoticon could do.

If only Iraq used one emoticon like that, this whole war could have been avoided. :D

Yes, and I was a bit harsh as well.

It just seems we are not the most welcome crowd sometimes. And how we say things can come across as more of an f'u than a help. You guys represent this board, not me. As we all know you guys post a hell of a lot more. This is your forum. Just don't scare people off ;)
