i just drew a mouse curson with a 1px pencil in photoshop. now i want to make the image 300x300px and keep it looking blocky at that size. so i want photoshop to stop anti-aliasing the image when i blow it up. i'm not sure if this is even possible. the pixel artist here should know.

did you try Filter>Pixelate>Facet or Fragment, or Crystallize? those might be a little more print-friendly. /Graphicsguy |

When you are changing your image size (Image>Image Size) Change your interpolation method (where it says Resample Image) to Nearest Neighbor. This is the best method for resizing images in which you want to have non-anti-aliased edges. |

Or just open it up in old mspaint and "stretch/scew" to your %. Trust me, no anti-alias there haha. ~ Not everything has to be done in PS.

What you do is select the pencil, increase its size and then redraw the image on a 300X300 size canvas.

Unfortunately, increasing pencil size won't give you a square; rather it's just an aliased version of its brush counterpart.

Before more torrents of drivel come pouring forth - for the love of all things good, dudeman has the answer. It's not always a good thing to have a hundred ways to do things in PS ;)
