edge blending problem |

i got this image with the woman on white background,i filled it with a sky texture but i couldnt blend the edges into the sky. how can i do that? thx. |

first of, cut the woman out a li'l better, perhaps with the extract tool, you can get a hint of what your selection looks like while in preview with a number of different backgroundcolors. Then you might wanna explore the wonders of layermasks. You also would want to look into the blending options in the layerspalette.

pfft, One way I learned to do it is when you have the picture cropped out, open another palette window with your background, then go back to the woman and do a light feather. Go under SELECT>FEATHER and punch in a number of about 10 pixels. Then drag the picture (in this case the woman) onto your other palette with the background. With the two palettes open it gives you a better chance to play with it until it's just right. Hope this helps. Cheers! |
