i'm having problems with the pen tool. i am trying to outline something, and the end shape will have a straight line across the top and bottom, with outward curved lines at the ends. i can make the curves at each end perfectly, but when i try to connect the bottom right corner to the bottom left corner with a straight line, or the top left to the top right, it messes everything up. after i create the curve at each end, i hold Ctrl and click on the pic so that the adjustment bar goes away. i go to the top right corner and click on the previously made point, then go to the top left point. if i just click on it, i get a weird curved line connecting them. if i click and hold on the second point, then it ends up adjusting that curve, and it still makes a curved line between the points. what am i doing wrong here? i want to be able to connect the points with a straight line and not messing up the previously created curved lines. here's a pic to show where i get stuck at. http://upload.stormaz.servebeer.com/index.php?bigimage=scott_05%2Fpentool.jpg |

ALT+Click the newly made point and it'll get rid of the curve info for the next point. It'll preserve the previous curve and the next point you make, you can do whatever you want with it.
