I need to paint a wall and, before spending my money, I ran a test in PS to determine what colour should I paint it. This is what I have (now the links, not the images ;)) http://www.geocities.com/alv3663/IMAG0001a.jpg I selected the wall and desaturated it http://www.geocities.com/alv3663/IMAG0001b.jpg Pasted the selected area in a new layer and used hue/saturation adjustment layer with these settings http://www.geocities.com/alv3663/hue.jpg Finally, this is what I got http://www.geocities.com/alv3663/IMAG0001c.jpg My question is: what is the colour I should buy at the paint shop? The hue/saturation settings result in some dark brown and the eye dropper reads different values on the wall as there are lights and shadows. Thanks in advance. |

1) Please do not post images directly into the forum. Link to them instead for the sake of dialup users 2) Your images aren't showing anyways. Geocities does not allow image linking. |

Thats a good question. What I might do is print out the picture (did you make it any bigger?) and take it to the guy at the paint store. He knows about paint colors and I would think be able to tell you what to get to make it look like that. Good luck.
