Help with Copy and Paste |

hi, i have a really dumb question. every time im doing a image or something and i try to copy a picture or something in PS7 it wont let me. I right click on the thing and then click COPY but when i go in PS the PASTE button isnt clickable, any ideas, suggestions on how to copy and paste to PS7?

how about "Ctrl+V"? Ever try that? hihi |

Ctrl + X = Cut Ctrl + C = Copy Ctrl + V = Paste Not sure if some file types don't copy or paste, though I can think of none offhand that would cause a problem. |

Of course, by doing that, you're copying file data instead of pixel information. Open the file first, select all, copy, and then paste it into another Photoshop document. |

Or right click the file, go open with... and then choose Photoshop. Then you can ctrl-a for select all, ctrl-c for copy, and ctrl-v for pasting into your desired window. Takes about 3 seconds - you dont even have to take your hand off the ctrl key ;) oh and ctrl-d deselects - thats a good one, too :D |
