How make a simple frog.

I need halp making characters. If I wanted to make a frog the head would look like this:

That is not good I know. How do I make it better.

I think if you want to draw by hand you should get a wacom tablet - it's more natural and less clumsy than a mouse. Alternatively draw on paper and scan it in. If you're not good at drawing, I'd find a picture of a frog, observe and draw or trace.

pen tool..... cant get more exact then that. Though if you dont have the drawing skills to begin with......it wont help much.

Also maybe tracing would be a good start. Dont trace a entire pic though......just like the general outline or trace enough until you feel comfortable modifying it on your own.
