turning history into an action |

You're messing around with PS and you come up with something cool and you want to "save" what you did to create it again at a future date using actions. However, you didn't turn the "record" button on for the action pallete, but you have everything in the history pallete that you did. Is there a way to "convert" or save the history of what I did as an executable action? Ps.....I know I could just save the PSD, but I wanted to make an action. Thanks for any tips! |

I don't think it can be done...I think one solution is to do it the hard way...expand hystory, save printscreens or print that and repeat the steps.... with the record button pressed this time...but it depends entirely on what you made ...if you drew stuff by hand (mouse or wacom) then there's pretty slim chances that it's going to work out....

Yeah, that's what I figured. I know that Imageready can do something similar to what I was seeking. Guess I have another feature request..... Speaking of new features, I can't wait to get the bucks for the CS upgrade. I've been hearing good things...
