Magnetic lasso help

Hi, name here is Mark I'm new to the forum. Hope I can get some help here.
I need to use the magnetic lasso to select a truck in a photo to place it in a new background. Problem is that I have to magnify it so large to see the detail that I can't see the whole truck on my screen at once. Is there a way to scroll my way around the truck (left, right up and down) as I'm selecting it with the lasso tool selected. Couldn't find anything in the help file about this.

Just press down Space key and move around with the mouse.

Awesome 3jorn, you taught me something today too. I never knew how to do that without actually closing the selection and adding to it with the 'SHIFT + " combo.
