can anyone help me. from a picture of a models face,i have been asked by my art director to create a false, plastic/shiny type look to the skin. any ideas? irvine |

Hmmm... I've never tried it... but maybe... You can have a base layer of one color, then another color, or another tone, overlayed on it. For the shiny part use white, also opacitated and overlayed - applied with a brush. For the sparkly/shiny effect in some places zoom in and draw really skinny white lines with the pencil tool in the areas that apply. Basically, I would just go over her face (I assume it's a photo) making the colors smoother and adding those highlights. Reading a tutorial on vector art, might help you too. |
