Hey Gang,

I'm using Photoshop CS.

A video tutorial I'm taking says to apply "3D Transform" and suggests the path in my title as the way to get there. For the life of me I can't find this one. I've looked all over.

I can't find "3D Transform" anywhere in the help files either.

Anybody know where I might be going wrong?

Thanks. And Cheers!

I don't think CS has 3D transform, I don't have it either. I was reading around and many say that it's a useless filter - you're better off using a 3D app. My guess is that Adobe discarded it?

Hey thanks, x..

I think that settles that. You are now the second person with CS who has confirmed to me that it's not in there. They must have taken it out.

I should also mention that I surfed around the web looking for info on this tool though and it was kinda odd. Most of the tuts mentioned something like "Does anyone really use this tool?"

The thing is the guy in these videos seems to have found a really good uses for it. For instance, creating books and dvd cases and stuff like that. Using this filter he turned that into child's play.

Anyway - I guess I can live without it. But if taking it out is what Adobe did - I sure wish the'd left it in.

Cheers!

it's missing for me also. it's a bit sad because i've used that filter many times for making, exactly what was mentioned above, books and dvd cases with perspective.

You'll find it on CD3 in the \Goodies\Photoshop CS\Optional Plug-Ins\Filters folder (Premium Edition)
copy it to the Filter folder on your harddrive and your all set again

its no longer included, unfortuantely, I wish they'd continu developing its engine..
oh well

cheers
