Hey Gang, I have a quick question that just goes to preference. When I open a document or create one anew the working space window is sized to the exact image of the graphic. Each time then (just for preference) I pull the window out a little larger so that I can see the space outside my graphic. Is there a way, however, that I can set my defaults though so that each time I open a graphic I reveal a bit of this non-work space? Or if I want to work this way do I have to Open - then drag the window out a little larger each time. Thanks! |

Hey Paavo, Thanks. And, Man - lol - I gotta say it. That's one heck of an avatar ya got there... lol :D Maybe one day I'll be so brave... lol I have the F key down and all. Full screen, etc.. I was just wondering about the possiblity of this setting. I should add also - I don't really need this. I can accomplish what I want very easily just by dragging out my window a little larger. However, that's an extra step. I was hoping there might be some way to set this as a default so that I wouldn't even have to use a short cut. But really - it's just a little thing that goes to my personal prefereance. I'm not aware of any other graphics program that opens a file this way either. Thanks anyway though, Man. And HA! Watch out for that web cam. :D |

I always hit F after I open a new image / create a new canvas, it's like when you take a dump, you'll wipe your arse. (no need to get into detail now!) :D And that's how my face looks all the time, I have issues. :( :p *runs off to make a new less shocking avatar* |

and if your using ver 7 onward - tweak the palette arrangements to a minimum... ie dock the ones u use the most into a single pallette by click on drag on the tab into a common one, or drag them up to the the docking well, when content with the arrangement go to 'Window/Workspace/Save Worspace' and use that workspace everytime PS opens.... its no shortcut, but can minimize on the clutter in your work area... cheers heathrowe |
