photoshop/imageready rollovers |

i have a pretty noob question, how do u make button rollovers for a website through photoshop/imageready? once my layouts are sliced, how is it possible to make rollovers? do i have to use dreamweaver? (i.e.- navigation text underlined when mouse is over it..) something basic as to that thanks |

thanks alot for that tut, but now since each navigation text button has to be a seperate layer, how can i line the text up perfectly horizontal??

i would recommend not messing with image ready for that. just export your graphics and put them back together in dreamweaver. i've noticed that imageready puts in tons of crap code that might mess up other scripts you might want to use later. just take the extra time in dreamweaver and it will eliminate many problems later.

id rather not because dreamweaver is a brand new program for me and i dont know how to do rollovers through that. plus--for now, there's nothing more im going to use for my first websites other than imageready and photoshop.

hey jsmy for allignment of layers Link the ones you want to allign in the Layers Palette by ticking the link icon (next to the eye icon -- if thery are not already linked, then it will appear as an empty grey box adjascent to the eye icon) Then select the Move (V) tool on the toolbox, and note the 12 Allign option icons on the top Options Bar -- tick the ones that will do the job your looking for - particularly the ones that say Horizontal when you mouse over them ( if you select the wrong one Ctrl +Z to undo) hope that helps cheers heathrowe |
