not that i know of.

Scratch disk just means that whichever hard drive you have designated as your scratch disk - probably you C drive - is really full. Photoshop cant use it to put temporary memory and files and shiznits.

Either you have to set the scratch disk to another drive that has ample space, or (probably the case) you'll have to free up some space on your current drive.

That error has come up to me before, but my computer had a virus a couple days later and had to be reformated anyways. I think you just have to clear temporary files.

edit:
Ohkay, I did a quick little search. For those who don't know how to change your scratch disk, just read along.
Edit > Preferences > Plug-Ins & Scratch-Disks

You will see that you can designate 'first', 'second', 'third', and 'fourth' drives. This is obviously so that when your first choice gets full, it will switch over to the second, and so on. If you only designate one, which is the 'startup' by default (and none for the others), you will get that error when it fills up.

As for the actual memory problem, I don't think there's much to do, aside from clear your temporary files (which can get pretty damn big) and delete all that porn ;)

Hope this helps.

I have 285.36gb of free space on the drive I installed photoshop on (512gb slave drive), and 37gb of space left on my 64gb master drive. I still get that problem, and I've never seen it before. I've tried clearing all my temp folders and cleaning up a few huge files like movies and stuff I don't need. I'm still getting the error. I dont know what my scratch folder is even set to. Maybe it's on a read only folder by mistake or something? How do I figure this out.

Ok I reset my computer and now its giving me another error. "Could not initialize photoshop because the file was not found." It doesn't tell me any specific file or anything.

... photoshop.exe was not found LOL! thats your problem, maybe your computer is looking for it in your master drive, and you installed it in your slave drive, try going the the photoshop folder inside the slave drive and run photoshopxx.exe (xx being the version, for example 9.0 (CS2)
