I was wondering how do you anti-alise text in photoshop 6.0. I know you could do it in 5.0 but I don't see it in 6.0. Please help.

there are a bnunch of settings across the top of the screen in PS6 select your text and change the setting that says "anti alias" I think by default it is set to "strong"

Is there another way to do that. Its just when i try a triangular looking font it leaves really jagged edges when i do layer effects. And then when i use photoshop elemesnts it has good anitalising but i can do more then one of the layer effects like drop shadow and outline.

on larger text you could try rendering the layer and using a small amount of guassian blur. On smaller text I suggest rendering it as a layer and getting down and dirty, zo0oming WAY in and use the pencil tool to clean it up
