the most of them look like photos to me?
And some of them seem to have some imageclipping going on?
Not anything I'd call a "technique", maybe I'm not getting what exactly it is you're wondering about?

they are photos but subtly digitally manipulated. I think prob is you can't tell from those shots. In a gallery you can see though. Not much help i guess. ;)
