How do I use the pen tool to outline an object to move that object to another picture. When I use the pen tool it fills in the object with whatever color I have selected.

These are the settings I use, and I'm sure that's how you want them to be. (photoshop 7) EDIT: Oh, and in case you didn't know how to make a selection of the path, just right click and choose "make selection". |

I always like to put that opacity of my new shape layer at 0% when I'm using the pen tool to outline something, because it lets me see through to the subject. But thats not if you're doing it Paavo's way - and his way is probably better. :D tom |
