Hello all, i got a real bad problem with GIF saving in Photoshop : everytime i am saving a GIF file and then i import it in Publisher, i get an ugly white border around the object even though the object is perfectly cut using the pen tool. And i used every kind of settings available but no noticeable change. Also when i save in PNG the border gets a little smaller but it's still here.

So my question would be where does that come from, if it comes from photoshop then could you give me soome tips to get rif of it? Or is it just my publisher doc/impression settings?

Thanks in advance

Wierd, I think it is just your Publisher tho. Have you tried to right click, (in publisher) go to "Picture Properties", and see if it has an auto border on it?

You have the matte color set to white. Change the matte color to what you want to publish it too or hide it?

Thanks for the replies !

Yeah, i got no border in jpeg but since my publisher work has 1 brown side and 1 white side, the ugly border always appear on the brown side.

Also i already changed matte color to black/white and result was the same, the only way to get rid of it atm is to change the format to PNG and even then, the border is black.Someone told me it had to do with my pen selection and path.
