The Che Guavarra-style

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how the all-famous Che Guevarra image was created (see link), or better, how can I use Photoshop to make a photographic image look this way..?

Uhm I guess you forgot to leave the link.

I'm guessing posterize or a adjustment layer with "threshold" should do it, if you're talking about the guevara image I think you are.

Yeah or then just cut out the dark places on the photo with the pen tool.
I think it would be the best way...?

so this seems a good opportunity to finally learn how to use the pencil-tool... I'm on it..!

yeah you really should learn to use it...
It's seem to be impossible to use it at first.
But if you force yourself to even use it for 10 minute you will understand how it works and you will really like that tool after that.
When I started using the pen tool I tried to make a flag.
Just to make something simple and understanding just how it works and I thought that was a pretty easy way to learn it.

its really nice and easy aswell.... yuou need to use the pen tool to select his head though
