Curved Writing

Just wondering if anyone knew how i could put text into complex shapes?

sorta like a typography picture?

im saying.... how can i (in photoshop) make writing go around complex shapes? like someones face....

i need the writing to follow the outline of a womans face

PS CS has text along a path. But I assume you don't have it. So...Free Transform.

"Text on a Path" in either Illustrator or the new Photoshop CS with help you achieve this effect.

I found that there is a filter at least in photoshop 7 that makes text go round and round...
Don't have photoshop here so I can't check what it was called :(

How hard would it be to make a plug-in (3rd party or otherwise) that would do this for Photoshop 7? I guess now Adobe wants you to buy CS, though, so they probably won't release something like that, huh?

I almost hate to say this, but, in an effort to help out, I will. Paint Shop Pro 7 has Text on a Path. And you can get it for under $100.

I'll go sit in the corner now.....

PSP is a good image editor.
