photoshop v7 wont open

good day!

I just want to know what's wrong with phtshp v.7. It doesn't want to open on Win xp. I tried re-installing the software but same things happens.

does anybody has a solution for this?

Does it give any particuliar error message? Does it happen during the install, or will it not let you get that far?

A few more details would be helpful.

Use System Restore and go back a few days in time. This happened to a friend of mine. We couldn't find the PS problem, so we used the System Restore and everything went back to normal.

A lot of photoshop funkiness can be fixed by deleting a corrupted preferences file. The problem is it doesnt get deleted when you re install and keeps using it. So read this doc and that should fix the problem.

Hmmm, a legit question...could possibly be...not asying it is...might have obtained it as such without knowing...
