Okay - I'm making a website. I have 5 text layers for the different sections (home, news, contact etc.) and I have them all aligned horizontally. I position the far left text layer where it needs to be, then the far right text layer where it needs to be, link all the text layers and hit 'Distribute Horizontal Centers' to have them fill out the space between evenly. Only problem is, it isn't working . . . they distribute, but not evenly. They sort of bunch up to the right. Am I doing something wrong? Does this only work on multiple layers of the exact same shape and size? Is there a setting somewhere enabled that I don't know about? |

if the problem still persists and you cant figure out how to correct it just set some guides up evenly spread apart, and then turn on snap to guides, then drag the text over the guide and it should snap it to the middle, dividing half the word to one side and half the other side, evenly.. As for your method you're using now, I cant help you there, I dont know what to tell you.. |

Welcome to the forums. I think what you want is "distribute vertical centers". I could be wrong - try it out and see. I don't have PS on the computer I'm on now so I can't check for you - sorry. Post here if it works / doesn't work. tom |
