Hey all- Although not new to Photoshop, I plan on using plugins for some actions and would like others to know to get the plugin before using the actions. I would like to insert some stops and messages for the user when using the actions. Could you please explain to me the procedure for doing so?--irish |

Hi irish. I use actions myself because they save time, also i have some that i am selling! Using stops is fairly simple. Well first off start your action. Make sure you are in the actions pallette and click on the corner arrow of the action pallette, and click new action. Of course you will want to name it for your convenience and click record. Now do your stuff (whatever you want the action to do). When you want to stop it to add some text info just click the square at the bottom of your action pallette, this is the stop record button. (looks like the same exact button as the stop for a vcr)And then you can click the record button again (the arrow beside stop) and insert some text and go on with your thing. But really i don't believe that i may have explained it good, because if you want to add text during the action you don't really need any stop actions. You will however need one once you are complete! Well i hope it has given you some idea of what you asked! - The Watcher DragonFrost Graphics |
