Whats the best way to get text on a circle in Photoshop? I know I need to use Illustrator and I've tried to figure it out, but I can't really get it. I'm making this: http://trhaynes.commscentral.net:8000/img/yearbook/bookcover4.gif and I need to have text around the inside of the CD. Do I need to do some exporting and importing? Or copying and pasting? Or what? tom |

there's ways to make it in PS. but illustrator has text on a path capabilities...much much easier....If you don't have illustrator - tell me what you want written - I'll do it for you and save you an eps so that you can use it as a layer - or even a psd...

I have Illustrator and I know how to make text on a path in it. But I don't know how to export/import/copy/paste between them. Make the circle in Photoshop, then... tom |

If you don't need the text to remain as text, just copy the Illustrator file straight over to Photoshop. Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator work seamlessly in this regard. There should be no problems.

in illustrator - just use a circle the same radius as the one in PS as path - write your text then just copy the text - Ctrl+C - paste it in PS - or save the file as an eps - or psd...either should work
