Hi everyone! I've to make a logo design and i have some questions The logo is probably going to be printed in paper, t-shirts, etc etc and i'm not sure what's the best way to make it... should it be vectorize? or can i just make it in photoshop had the effects i want and put in a High resolution so it can be applied in whatever they want no matter the dimensions? Thanks in Advance Angelene :D |

both are good- but if you really really want it to be good no matter what size you have to make it vector. It's not very practical to make an A3 size logo in PS at 300dpi rez just in the off event the owner will want to put it on a billboard. also - the fewer the colors - the better. 2-3 colors- 4 tops |

Yeah thats some good advice from mihai. If you know that the mediums are limited to t-shirts and small posters, you can make it bitmap. But if you don't know where it could lead to, and there isn't any other reason not to, make it in vector. There's some stuff you can't do in vector, though. A logo should be fairly easy to vectorize, though. tom |
