72 or 96dpi?

I will have to go with graphicsguy on this one. Although i have seen 96 dpi images but why use them. If you want to have it for the web, 72 dpi is the standard. So if you have a 96 dpi image and use it on the web, the browser will compress it to 72 dpi. So you are better off saving at 72 dpi. As for print, like already mentionned you may want it at 300 dpi unless it is just text which in that case anything between 75 and 150 dpi will do.
