Saving pictures...

Hey, WOW its been a Loooooooooong time since I've posted here... anyways

Ok I'm not sure if this was the right place to post this question, but I didn't know where else to post.

Ok well when I'm trying to save a picture from the internet it doesn't work. Like I usually right click and "Save Picture As..." Well when I do that the save screen comes up, then I type in what I want to save it as etc... It seems like everything worked. But then when I try to open it in Adobe - its not there. So I went to My Computer instead and looked for it there. Well I found the pictures I had saved, but they arent recognized... so I can't open them. I've tried saving them as different things like .jpg .bmp etc but it still wont work. So what I have to do is copy the picture and paste it into adobe and THEN save it. It's really annoying. And plus, when I do that, the quality of the picture is not as good as if I "Saved Picture As..."

I dont know what to do... :(

i'm not sure what could cause that but u could try renaming the saved file to whatever.jpg to just add the format extension if it's missing it. or u could just take a screen grab and paste it into photoshop. never seen this problem

Ok thanks! Yeah I just had to rename it and add a .jpg and it worked... thats still could get annoying, but it works none the less.

Try just dragging the picture to your desktop. It should have the extension and everything that way. And its mighty simple to do.
