Whats the tool for like a blurry thingy... i'm trying to do it on a person, but if i use blur, it will blur his face away... is there any other tool that can do it... kinda like fading off...

what in the world r u trying to ask here? u can use the blur tool which is the droplet in the toolbar or select the area and use gaussian blur so u have controll over it.

I think he is trying to make a pic look out of focus, but have some aspects in focus. To acheive this I would do the following. I would take your base layer (the pic) and I would duplicate it. I would then go to Filter, Blur, Gausian Blur, and adujust it to the level of blur that is wanted then hit OK. Then I would select the eraser tool, set it to a light pressure, with a wide brush, and I would run it around over the features I want to be in focus and clear. Thats all there is too it. By having two layers it allows me to eat though one layer to show the other. It produces much better results than using the history brush, or the blur tool itself. Once I have the image the way I want it, I just link the layers and hit CTRL E to merge the layers, and I am done. Thats it. But something tells me that if you had no clue how to even ask the question in a clear and direct manner that there is no way you will be able to do what I listed above. |
