Hi, I have two pictures. One has a shape (let's say a circle) and I want to cut the exact shape and size of this circile out of a second picture. The rest of the picture should be deleted. I am using Photoshop 5.5. Thanks Martin |

1. Open both of the pictures in seperate windows and make the selection you want on one of them with the marquee tools. Then get a marquee tool on "create new selection" and drag the selection onto the other picture. Position it where you want it and then go edit>copy. Open a new document, click OK, and go edit>paste. 2. A more advanced way is to get both of the photos into the same document and then select what you want. Select the layer of the other picture and go layer>add layer mask>reveal selection. Read up on layer masks if you want to know exactly what that does. tom |
