No, just a web designer. He likes monitors though. Unfortunately none of them are very good monitors. They all make my eyes hurt really bad. They are all curved CRT's. Not flat. Makes my eyes hurt.

actually i want to be able to do this as well.. i allready have two monitors, but i need a new card..

i allready have a geforce 3 128mb and would hate to see that un-used.. and i still want to be able to play a game once in a while.. so im very confused about what to do.. buy some superexpensive dual-monitor card and sell the geforce.. og buy an extra PCI card and do it that way around..

any suggestions anyone?

It depends on how often you play. You can get a Matrox G400 which is like 25$ and will work ok with your monitors for 2D and change it to the Geforce3 when you want to play.... or if you're rich - buy a parhelia which will give you very decent 3D and will support 3 monitors... and you can sell the geforce one.

deker - I can only imagine the critique going around in your house - 2 webdesigners under one roof u-huu... this has to hurt....now if we take into account the conflict between generations.....whoa -

Well we don't live together, so I normally just go over there when he needs help with something like setting up a form or something like that. But we used to be in business together, and yeah, there was some disagreements, but it wasn't too bad.

Yeah that sounds horrible having to swap graphics cards all the time.

If you have the money, get 2 cards and make sure it supports dual monitoring. NVidia does with TwinView.
