I am able to save and recall actions that are downloaded but the actions that I create are not saved when I reopen Photoshop 7. I put them in the effects list never to be seen again! Have I done something wrong? All of the books that I have looked at don't require a "saving" procedure after it is added. Please help! Thanks!

Put the action you make in the atn folder, this is the folder were your actions should be placed when you download actions and when you make your own. If I'm wrong someone quote me on that.
