Hi, I have been using photoshop for about a year now, but I find this problem I have very annoying and frequent. When I use the text tool and want to make small text, the text still looks around a size 12 or higher, no matter how many times I try a new font, and have the size at even 6 it still looks to big. I am not to sure what I am doing wrong. Thanks for any help! |

This may or may not be the answer… try using pixel fonts, pixel fonts are designed to look good at smaller sizes.

hey hefanatic. Ive had that problem plenty of times and it usually has to do with your resoultion. Image > Image Size. Make sure your working @ 72 (or whichever res u need) |

Yeah that happens to me, too, but in the opposite way. I have to make my text like size 4 to get it to be like size 12 in a browser. tom |

Check to see how your fonts are being measured. They could be set at pixels, or pts, or ems or whatever. 12pt is quite a bit larger than 12px.

i think hes problem is the resolution of the image a 12 size font on a high resolution image is very different than a 12 size font on a small resolution image, i suggest you always check the resolution and ajust the font size acordenly.
