Hello, I'm trying to make a "gag" gift for a friend.. his face on a fake $25 canadian bill. I'm doing this by changing a $20 bill. If you look at the Queen's photo, it's not a photo at all, but her image made out of simple lines. Instead of just pasting his photo over the Queen, I'd like to create that same effect. Does anyone know how to go about doing this? I've already searched through what seems like hundreds of filter sites with no luck. Thanks, Kasia Montreal, Canada |

Well... I'm not exactly sure what a Canadian $20 bill looks like (sorry... i'm an American and i don't get out much but I have been having fun playing around with the sketch effect that was posted on teamphotoshop not too long ago. mabye you could use this as a base and then mess with some of the settings to fit the bill. good luck!

I don't think that's what he needs - look at american money - it's the same thing... you could make your pic - heathrowe's tut is a good way to make it but I think you should keep the original image and blend the result of the tut on it - then make a pattern - the "lines" you were talking about - and fill a layer on top of everything with it - then select your pattern and delete the selection from your friend's pic. It shouldn't spoil the image - the eye will fill in the details - you'll get a similar effect |
